Page from my ongoing Art Journal Class called
Paint & Chronicle
Maybe I am used to moments that weren't worth paying attention to. Maybe that is why I started writing and making art in the first place. I get on myself a lot because I am always in my head and never in my bones or in my eyes or paying attention to what is around me. My elbows hit cabinet doors and I put spoons in the wrong drawers. I took a yoga class last week and it felt good to be in my body. I want to feel like that more.
All of the color is from Dylusions Ink Sprays
The sprays are wonderful. I poo poo other sprays because they are too light or too dark and these are just right. BRIGHT, and TRANSPARENT. And although I believe it is water soluble once it dries I have not had a problem lifting. I'll have to ask Dyan Reavely who designed them, if they are permanent once dry. I Layered over them no problem.
Also, if you don't know about it yet, Dyan has designed a new journal. The paper in it is just like Moleskine but its larger and more wonderful. It is all I will use:
