So Internet world, how have you been?
2 months now I have been in Minnesota and I like it just fine. Fine enough that I am waiting to hear back on a condo I wish to rent. A cute cute place in cute cute Saint Paul which is an artsy little city. I will walk to cafes and galleries. Like this one called the Black Dog Coffee Bar.
I was taken to the place by the boy.
He likes books and coffee and buddhism and
eating smooshy sandwiches with me.
The art on the coffee shop's walls was giant comic book layouts. Very cool idea. I think googie could do a show like this. She makes cartoons about her life that would look excellent large and on a public wall.
Next to the cafe is a Gallery. If you don't go to galleries you need to go. Most of it you may not like but you will hit on something you do and then all you'll want to do is run home and make something either like it or something better. Either way you will be inspired.
In other news the Condo called and I am moving July 1. I will make a video of the setting up of my studio. The place is super cute!
