In this huge mixed media class you will learn everything you need to know, start to finish, on how to make both a simple and complex portrait painting. For both the beginning and intermediate artist.
 
What You Will Learn
1. Color theory - how to get the most out of one tube of paint.
What colors go together and how to blend them for a mermaid palette.
2. Substractive and Aditive Backgrounds.
3. Drawing and shading the face and body - Beginning and Advanced
4. Wood burning
5. 3 Folk Art Paintings on wood and canvas from simple to more complicated. (6 X12, 12 X 24, 24 X 36)
6. New techniques like adding wool to beeswax and broken tiles and sea glass.
7. Creating an environment rather than an abstract background.
8. Creating a complicated mixed media frame.
9. Creating a cloth Mermaid Journal.
10. Journal prompt writing and inspiration.

WELCOME: Once you are approved you will have access the online classroom.

 *Videos are YOURS to keep. Download them onto your computer and watch them whenever you want.

* Workshops can be accessed online anytime 24/7 for the length of the semester.

* Participation is optional. You are welcome to share your reflections and 

experiences as well as your art but this is not required.

* For most classes registration will remain open until one month before the semester ends so you may join any time.

CLASS POLICIES, PROCEDURES, AND CANCELLATION POLICY.

*In order to participate in Suzi Blu workshops you must pay your class fees before the class begins. Once paid expect to see 2 invitations in your email box within 24 hours. One is for general membership to the school and one is for your classroom. No one can become a member without first paying for a class. Sometimes invitations get sent to your spam folder so check there before emailing me. If you do not receive your invite email me at suziblu@gmail.com and include your pay pal invoice and I will send your invitation again.

*You are expected to have basic computer and Internet skills. A high speed internet connection is needed to download course materials.

*All course materials are copyrighted by the instructor, Suzi Blu. Several of my online students are also teachers. This does not bother me. Using my course material, network ideas, layout, syllabus and content is inappropriate. It is also inappropriate for you to solicit your classes to any students by way of my network, and to contact members in my network for the sole purpose of soliciting your classes online or otherwise. Les Petit Academy retains the right to expel any student without refund who does not comply with school policies.

While it is easy peasy lemon sqeazy note many of the videos are long and might require you to download them overnight.  If you pay hourly for internet that may not work out for you.
