So first you dread your own hair. We started with wax but quickly moved on to crochet and needle felting. GOLLY! BFF Mara (who I now call Summer because she is my light in darkness), Summer thought it mighty fine to put afro puffs into ponytails. I let her. When I woke up they looked like this: (You have a bathroom too get over it.)
More dreading and my own head was finally done. I love peaches. Not from a can.
1/4 of the extensions put on, the pictures are dark but I wanted to put something up. I LOVE THEM! And they are forever. No tightening extensions they are dreaded into my hair and its the most beautiful thing.
Here you can see where my own hair ends and where the dreads need to go. We will finish the rest tomorrow. And put a few wool ones on too. (Wool is felted over the dreads for permanent color. You also can make wool ones to attach with a rubber band for temporary ones.)
Summer and I are going to make hair jewelry too. And next we are doing HER HAIR IN DREADS yay! Hers will be all red and I'm going to help her.
