It wasn't easy on cold nights like this, when there hadn't been sun for a week. Here in the land of sun. No sun, and windows thick with fog. She looks out the glass but isn't waiting for anyone anymore, not for the Poet, who will never show. With all certainty she knows he isn't a real. Just a game she made up in her head to take up the moments in between breaths.But now with no respite, it feels tedious to breathe.
